Pam
Welcome to Cotton Tales pattern company. I'm Pamela Curo. I began designing patterns in 1994, and over the years my quilts have evolved. My designs are inspired by my travels, and my life in northern Minnesota. I hope you enjoy!

and Wool Felt Projects

.
This is an updated version ( a smaller, paper pieced quilt) of Timberland, which launched my beginning as a pattern designer.

I started out designing patterns for soft sculptured dolls. When I found that the little quilt or wool penny rug that I'd included in the pattern were what people wanted most, I decided it was time to switch gears. Dolls were everywhere, but the quilting world was exploding with new techniques and ideas.

Cotton Tales Under the Stars
Under the Stars

Under the Stars was the pattern that put me on the map.

It is my best selling pattern, and has been used by many quilt shops for their Beginning Quilt Making, or Quilting Basics class.

I still use this pattern today for my beginning students. We've substituted other appliques, and changed the color schemes, and the end results are beautiful, and unique to each student. I still love this quilt.
