For many years, Cotton Tales has been the designer for the Heart of the Lakes Quilt Shop Hop pattern. The patterns were given away to shop hoppers exclusively during this shop hop event. The pattern was later released as a new version, or a variation of the original design. Below are some of the quilt patterns that have been designed for this event.

Celebrate America
12" x 12" Small Quilt or Candle Mat
We
are proud to celebrate America! This little quilt is adorable. The log
cabin blocks are paper pieced, and the center is a hand dyed navy blue
wool star. The kit includes the pattern, wool, 2" strips in assorted
red, white and blue prints from Moda, unbleached muslin, and backing.

This
pattern is a new version of the Northern Star Quilt that was designed
by Cotton Tales for the Heart of the Lakes Quilt Shop Hop in 2008.
There is a template provided if you'd like to paper piece your star
points, or you can use the tri-rec's ruler to achieve these beautiful
stars. We chose to paper piece our stars. We're addicted to the
accuracy of paper piecing!

This pattern was designed for the Yeehaw fabric manufactured by Maywood Studios. The size for the motif's are 6" x 6", and 6" x 12". Consider this design for other fabrics that will fit within the dimensions provided for the motifs. A great quilt for cowboy's and cowgirls!
