North Wood's Memories
Block of the Month
Pattern Set

This beautifully hand stitched wall quilt features blocks inspired by life in the north country. Beth Ritter, designer, created these beautiful embroidery patterns. Her work is absolutely breath taking.
The blocks are sold as a complete set of 12, plus the finishing instructions. The cost is $39.99

The block designs are not pre-stamped or pre-printed. We recommend a product called Transfer Eze, with allows you to transfer the image onto your fabric easily. The product feeds through your computer printer. It is ironed onto your fabric. Stitch through the product. Once the stitching is complete, simply dillute the fabric in water, and the product dissolves!

A more traditional method is to use a light box, or a window to trace the image onto fabric.

Cotton Tales Pattern: CT 334

Winter's are long here in northern Minnesota, and we're hopeful and wishing for spring! This little charmer is a nice way to pass the time while waiting for the tulips to sprout through the snow. We've also done this little wall quilt in wool.
